Rev Kev Robinson - Priest in Charge
Kev and his wife Melanie moved to Bexhill in July 2019 to take up his ministry here at St Stephen’s. Kev has been a Priest since 2010 and has a BA in Theology from Chichester University. Kev has served in two previous parishes in West Sussex: Southbourne with West Thorney and The Valley Parish of Singleton, East Dean and West Dean, and has also been a hospital Chaplain at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, a Chaplain to Chichester College, and helped as a Chaplain to the Army on Thorney Island as part of his work with Southbourne parish.
Kev and Melanie have two grown-up children. Sam and Josey. Sam is married and lives in Chichester, and Josey is hoping to work in the filming industry after graduating from University.
Melanie has her own ministry, and a Bishop’s Certificate in Theology, which will hopefully benefit the parish here, she is currently supporting Kev as his full-time personal assistant and our hall hire bookings secretary. She is a member of Deanery Synod, and helps to run various church activities and events.
